The Arts and Science Council

A Sign of the Times Afrofunk performance during ASC's Connect with Culture Days.

In partnership with UNC Charlotte's Urban Institute, and with support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, ASC is leading an effort to engage Mecklenburg County residents, artists, cultural organizations and other sectors to solicit feedback about ways that investments in arts and culture can most positively impact members of our community. As part of this effort, the Urban Institute is facilitating Stakeholder Mapping Sessions to solicit feedback from potential funding beneficiaries during which participants will identify current sources and mechanisms of support for their work, identify needs and suggest solutions.

Your participation will help us explore ways to strengthen and improve access to our community’s many arts and cultural assets.
